Two further developments are emerging as the spring warms up:
I am announcing an exciting Men’s Healing Workshop “The Fire of Love”
a residential workshop June 24 – 27 in Wicklow. Where Leigh Tolson and I will offer a workshop combining integrative psychotherapy, and tantra practices, to provide a powerful healing workshop for men around wounding to their sexual identities. Another project which is coming to fruition is Futures Ireland. This has been a two year project I have been involved in facilitating. The project which was run by the National Economic and Social Development office (N.E.S.D.O.) brought together 150 individuals from all areas of life in Ireland, who had been innovators in their fields over the past decades. The group was brought together for three events to consider:
1. What had facilitated / hindered their innovation
2. How they envisioned Ireland in 20230
3. How this future could be engineered
This was a powerful process that has yielded very useful insights in this time of creative crisis for our country. A key insight that emerged is that change needs to be seen on three levels, organisational, interpersonal and intrapersonal. While this insight is not new to many, this will be the first time that it will be embedded as Government policy, when An Taoiseach Brian Cowen launches the findings on April 11th. So we can make one small step towards the integration of change processes, combining social change with deep personal change. It is deeply touching for me to see such a vision for change somewhat more embedded in societal thinking.
